Get a head start for school band or orchestra

Individual lessons can help a young student get a great start learning a new instrument before school begins. Lessons are also great for kids who want to play an instrument before they’re old enough to play in school.

Already in school band or orchestra?

I have helped many students achieve greater success in school band and orchestra. Individual lessons can help students overcome difficulties. Many of my students have progressed to the rank of first chair at school.

Need some help with difficult school music?

Lessons can be scheduled as needed for those times when a band or orchestra student is having trouble playing a particularly difficult piece of music from school.

Have you always wanted to play an instrument,
but thought music lessons were only for kids?
It really is never too late to learn.

Over the past 25 years, I have taught many adult students, as old as 82. Some had never played an instrument before.  Some were picking up an instrument they hadn’t touched in 20 or 30 years.

All of them benefited from the vast amount of music each of them had listened to over their entire lives.

It’s never too late to learn to play an instrument and start making music!
