1980 Guardsmen Photos

In 1980 I played timpani at the front of the field for most of the show. During "The Wasps," I played marching marimba with the mallet line. When I wasn't marching with my marimba, I had plenty of time to walk around and take pictures while the rest of the corps was working on the drill. 1980 turned out to be my last year with the Guardsmen, although I hadn't planned it that way. I found out about my surprise age-out right after our DCI prelims performance. Luckily we made finals.
